Items Stolen From Loretto Property
A resident of Loretto summoned law enforcement officers to his rental property Monday after finding that several items had been stolen.
The victim, age 81, reported to deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department that it had been approximately three weeks since he had been to his Fleming Road property.
When he arrived Monday afternoon, he said he realized that tractor attachments were missing, including a bush hog, tiller and mower. In addition, he said a commercial stove had been stolen from a separate building.
Monetary loss resulting from the crime is estimated to total $2,550. Investigation is currently continuing through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
